Unlucky Homer, just read your blog....i shot a level 70 today for a net 63. Was 2 under on the 15th fairway then bladed a wedge OOB for a double.. gutted, may win, will def get another cut though

How did you get on. I would be more annoyed about the wedge than my drive or bunker shots as they are my weak points. Great scoring though

On the Net scores I won by 3 shots. Best Gross of the day too.
I was really annoyed at the wedge, its a real strength of mine - from inside 120 yards. Usually get inside 15 feet at worse. Just tried to fire in a low one to a pin at the back of the green (that section being really flat so wanting to get all the way back there). I hit 6 birdies in my round yetserdays, all set up withreally good approach shots with the 9i, PW, 58 or 56.
Club champs next weekend, and im down to 6.4 now. I reckon 3 or 4 over, accross 2 days may win. I hope I can put a steady (not neccessarily spectatular) score in on the Saturday and get into the last group for Sunday.
