Hi all,
Hope you are all well and enjoying your golf whether it be wet or dry ;)
I just thought I'd post as it has been alittle while (not had any time as we been out on the course virtually every evening) and let you all know that we have now been members at Brailes GC for 2 weeks and throughly enjoying it.
Hubby and I have been made to feel really welcome, by both members and staff, to the point we really feel at home at this club.
We are starting to visit the clubhouse after a round for a pint before heading home and have even made a few purchases in the well stocked pro shop.
A new Callaway carry bag for me and some clothing and a few bits for hubby.
I am also loving my new driver at the mo, getting more consistancy and distance
I have even managed to birdie a par 4 and have started averaging 2 pars per round so all in all I am very happy with our move. :)

How is everyone else's golf going?

What a great outcome, having read of your dilemma at the old club. It just goes to show how some golf clubs are so narrow minded and don't deserve a membership.
Being made welcome at your new club, you're obviously happy to spend money on equipment and clothes, and long may it continue.
Great to hear! :)

Thanks Guys, lucky for me I finish work tomorrow for 2 whole weeks, so if the weather holds out we shall be out on the course everyday.
So if anyone is around and our way they are most welcome to join us for a round. Members guest fees are only £15 and the clubhouse food is great.

Do they know you ride a horse and have a fetching line in ponchos and sombreros. I can see the ladies sharpening their lipsticks already as you could clean up with all this practice and ability!

lol, I wouldn't worry Homer, my ponchos and sombreros will have to be put away as I will be submitting 3 new cards and start from the beginning as my handicap has lapsed.

Yeah, same old. Submit 3 bad cards and away you go, bandito country here we come.

Seriously, I hope it all works out for you. Good luck in your new club.

Don't you listen to them barb, get those cards in and then turn up to a Forum event and give them what for ! These guys are just jealous ;)

All the best with the new Club, sounds like you're going to enjoy it there.

Play well.
