Arranged a game for this afternoon

Why's that Mr Smiffy.

Just find it a litle "Mickey Mouse" in places.
Last year it was too wet to happen, but the previous year you could hit a nice shot down the middle of the fairway and watch as your ball took a massive bounce one way or the other and ended up behind a bloody tree, or worse.
And the run you were getting on the ball would sometimes get you into trouble. It was bad enough during March when we went, I'd hate to think what it was like during a scorching hot Summer when the fairways were bone hard and devoid of grass.
:D :D :D

No but bloody tempted. The changes they have made make the course unrecognisable, seriously bratty last weekend after all that rain on Saturday and the course was immaculate.
Wish I could say the same for Westerham! :( Boggy in parts, and the greenkeepers have left track-marks all over the place!

I liken the Addington to Westerham in some ways. Both of them give you some wicked bounces that you just don't deserve during the Summer months, and both hold water like sponges during the winter.
You've got to hit both of them at just the right time of year.
