Arnold Palmer Invitational

I hope they don’t water the greens and players struggle

Then we will see who really is the best

Dechambeau was making Kevin Na look quick last night, Painful to watch.
He's constantly in the Yardage book even on the greens, saying he uses something called Vector when putting.

Just had a quick look..
It's along the lines of an Aimpoint system but using, on the face of it, complicated maths equations requiring the use of a Supercomputer....
Fits in quite well with BDc but no surprise it takes an age

I only saw him on the 18th last night but he was painful to watch. He spent an age on the green staring at his book. Look at the green man, not your blinkin book.

Im wondering if Dechambeau's pace of play will affect Stenson at all in this final round as he isn't known for his patience.

Ok, I admit it, I was one of those who thought Golf didn’t need Tiger Woods and his comeback wouldn’t bother me. However, watching this display in the Arnold Palmer Invitational is just inspiring! So glad to see him back in contention.

How is it even possible to miss the fairway by as much as Tiger just did and yet still have a clear shot to the green.

An old friend of mine who was brought up on the links of East Lothian used to say "On a decent course that ball would have been in the sea."

An exaggeration I know but he did have a point.

Rory has decided he wants to win this so brings his a game

Stenson has forgotten his a game

Gonna be a great finish

What a good final day so far.

Know it is the wrong thread but good luck to Laura D a little later, rolled back the years yesterday.

It was a nonsense wasn't it? I laughed when I saw how off line it was, not nasty, it was sooooooo far right. Then I saw where it landed and realised he would have no problems. It's not right, no penalty.

Absolutely!

And it's not an anti-Tiger thing as I have made the same observation about other players in the past.

I can't think of any hole on any course that I regularly play where there would be the same opportunity.

Well done to admit this! There are certainly plenty on here who wouldn't do so!

I have always hoped he'd come back reasonably well, but never expected, certainly a couple of 'false starts', that he'd be in contention so quickly!

And as I post this this, there's a tremendous roar as he sinks another one to go within 1!

I still hope Stenson wins it though!

I'm not his biggest fan, but it's so nice to see Woods smiling his way round the course.
It feels right to have him back ......................... I don't want him to win though!
I'm rooting for Rose, then McIlroy.

100% with you there, it's a better story than Tiger Woods!

The big difference is Tiger is smiling. He is showing himself as human. First time around he was anything but and that is why I was not a fan, not that that would bother him 😁. A smiling Tiger will be very welcome back.
