Are You A Potential Bandit?

Not sure what this means?

Until recently
PBR = (7.0 - (-2.4)) = 9.4
IR = (10.7 - (-2.4)) = 13.1

Currently
PBR = (8.8 - 5.2) = 3.6
IR = (10.7 - 5.2) = 5.5

You've recently lost a seriously good score there. Did you win a comp 20 scores ago?
You've lost a possible winning bandit rating score too.

This will highlight the wider variation expected from a higher handicap golfer and therefore strengthen the view of some that all high handicappers are bandits. ;)

I've been in bandit country this year, mostly due to finding some form after 4 or 5 years where my handicap has gone up and up and up, some years I had no cuts at all. In 2019 for instance I had 14 x 0.1s and one 0, which was only because CSS was reductions only!

Earlier this year I climbed up to 17.5 but then something clicked and I'm now 12.1
My 8 best scores are in my most recent 10, which means I can have 10 disaster rounds and it won't affect my handicap!

PBR = 12.1 - 6.9 = 5.2
IR = 16.5 - 6.9 = 9.6

Bandit. It is looking like anything over 5.0 gets you the label, sorry. ;)

Yeah, the irony is that having a good score drop out makes you less of a bandit than having it in. Pretty much the opposite to how we’d view it at the golf club.?
Unfortunately, people's memories last longer than 20 rounds. Lose that good score, your handicap goes up and the sombrero accusations become rife. Showing your accusers these figures won't help you, I fear.

2.9
4.5
I am close ???
But seriously have not got it going this season. But got a pairs board competition.

PBR: 4.4 - 3.3 = 1.1
IR = 5.0-3.3 = 1.7

lowest IR? Doesn’t surprise me, I win nowt, and score within a narrow range most of the time. If I’m straight then I putt badly and if I’m wayward…..

PBR: +0.1 - -6 = -6.1
IR: 2.4 - -6=- 3.6
is that right, proper confused?

Best round was a -6 off 0.8 at the time(score diff was -6)
8th best score diff is 2.4
PBR (0.1 - - 6) = 6.1
IR (2.4 - - 6) = 8.4
You are the biggest bandit so far! Although a very close thing with @backwoodsman.
Thus expelling a much mentioned myth. Unless many of our higher handicapping brethren are too embarrassed to post their figures.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Someone with even more boring figures than mine!
Time to take up Vintage Golf?
It does break the monotony, I assure you.
