I ask because I am getting a pair given to me from my sister. They used to belong to her dad and he only wore them a handful of times before he passed away earlier this year.

From looking at their website, they're either the World Class ones or the comfort classic.

They're white with brown "animal skin" leather accents. Look rather nice and hoping she remembers to post them to me today so I have them in time for Beau Desert as my cheapo Nikes will not last 36 holes and I'm hoping these will live up to the comfort hype.

From my experience of wearing a pair for this winter I wouldnt be happy using anything else. They are very comfy and dry as a bone with a lifetime waterproof guarantee due to the gortex lining.

^^Agree, if they are the right size for you they will last years and be as comfortable as carpet slippers.

Sweet!

Well I'm a size 9 in shoes and they're a size 9 in the ones I'm getting, so as long as the sizes don't vary too much from a normal shoe, I should be quids in.

someone was going to say it I guess...

back to the Ecco shoes, will have to let me know what you think at Beau Aztecs as my fj ecomfort and nike heritage kill my feet after about 14 holes :(

Will do mate. My Sister informs me that they should be here tomorrow, I'm hoping to get out for 18 this weekend, so I'll get a trial run with them before Beau.

Not the style I would have chosen, but looking at the prices they retail for, I can't complain, and it saves me £100 which I was just about read to spend on a pair of Mizuno MP's.

..brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'dead man's shoes'.

I'll get my coat.

Did he ever say " put yourself in my shoes " or " if you were in my shoes "

What happened to the mizzy shoes!

If I could actually afford them, I'd get the Mizzy shoes, but if these bad boys actually fit, I'm happy to forego my Mizzy fanboy urges and "make do" with a shoe that's probably superior.

A decent pair of shoes is a necessity rather than a luxury at the minute because the ones I currently have won't last much longer and definitely won't get me through 36 at Beau pain-free.

Sad times, they're half a size too big :( Might try a pair of insoles before I get rid of them, but there might be a bargain pair of Ecco's that from the looks of them have been worn half a dozen times, for sale cheap shortly.

Can anyone recommend some decent insoles for me to try.

Cheers.
