Apologies and Hello

Hi folks, I'd just like to apologise for not introducing myself ealier, I am new to forums and stuff.

I'm James, I am English, but live in Ballymena, NI.
I have been playing 6 years, and play of 11.5, worked really hard last year working away from home and got from 17 to 10.7, at Ramside in Durham, but then faded a bit toward the end of year with a swing change and lack of practice time, families, eh!!
I have re-joined Galgorm Castle this year and am hoping to get to single figures. Here's hoping!

Welcome to the forums and good luck getting to single figures, its my aim this season also.

Im down in Derry and play at City of Derry. Galgorm is on the list of courses to play this year, me and a mate were hoping to play it very soon. How has course held up over the winter.

If you ever in Derry area looking for a game give us a shout.

Galgorm was closed for 6 weeks mate over the christmas, but I think everywhere was! They have spent a lot of time sorting the drainage, as when I played there a few years back it was very wet, but played before I came to england couple of weeks back and it was in good nic, greens are execellent considering, easily as quick as Ramside was this summer! I have never played Derry, I have a couple of friends from that neck of the woods, good night out there! lol
I am back over for easter weekend mate and thats me home, no more in England for the foreseeable, so if you want a game and I can get a pass off the missus, let me know! cheers

It would appear that you carry enough ping gear for 2!

I tried a rapture V2 in my quest for more out of a driver, and it wasnt for me. I love the s57 irons though, just cant justify the money after coughing up for my TM's a year ago

As I said James we already got Galgorm on the list for a game this year so would be good to get round with you. Once you back in N.I let us know and we can try to arrange something, and you welcome to get yourself down to Derry for a game as well.
