Anyone using Club Systems booking system??

We are considering the move from Club Systems to BRS for members app and tee booking (members and visitors). Purely because of cost with Club Systems full suite.

I'd really appReciate it if you could share the 56 tasks! Be interesting reading.

Presently our club use Club V1 for membership and club competitions. For tee reservations for members, visitors and opens we use BRS. With 4BBB counting for handicaps from April 1st we are considering moving the open bookings to Club V1. The beauty of this is the CDH numbers are automatically entered into the system when the booking is made. Using BRS the names and CDH numbers have to be entered manually. With a big field this can be a daunting task. My question is simply “is the Club V1 system for open bookings any good and worth the move”? Thank you.

You currently use the same systems as we do. We intend to use the ClubV1 quick entry to manually put the Open visitors’ names into the competition. We think that over a period of time (a season?) we will have captured 90% of regular entrants.

We've just switched from BRS booking to full ClubV1. No issues other than the usual 'It's not the same' comments. One useful feature that has got general approval is the facility to book (and show) 9 holes. Because of the logistics involved, we only allow front 9 bookings but because of the wet and claggy conditions many are only playing 9 or 13 holes. Individuals can add themselves to a full or short round booking and indicate that they intend to play a short or full round.
