Anyone use Nike Storm-Fit Waterproofs?

Hi Aztec.

Saw them when browsing earlier today. They look good and the label stated they were waterproof, windproof and breathable, which is good news. Breathability is very important whilst playing, otherwise you'll end up wet through with sweat, especially during summer downpours.

Good choice mate. ;)

If only I'd chosen them :(

They're comfortable though!

My mate has them and says they are comfortable and not restricting in anyway. He's only worn them in light rain though and is unsure how they would hold up in a proper down pour.

Im sure they'll be fine ;)

Got a very weird Nike flexible jacket. Worn it in some proper rain and it was fine.

Most modern waterproofs will do the job. Stop worrying, you'll be dry enough.

Bought my brother a set last Christmas and he used them at the Castle Stuart weekend (anyone who played Spey Valley and Nairn would agree, it was wet and testing conditions), used them all three days and said they were the best winterproofs he had used.

I've got a set and i must say there are no complaints from me. Not once have my clothes underneath got wet. They don't restrict your swing either.

I think that's what Algar5 wears and he's had no issues at all. In fact I think it's quite a smart looking suit.

In today's Market with all sorts of fancy waterproof fabrics I'd say you would need to be very unlucky to get wet, or wet twice which I did with two separate Galvin Green waterproof jackets.

I'm sure unless you are a US Ryder Cupper most suits on the market today will do a pretty good job at keeping you dry. This has become one of the growth areas recently and has seen a lot of progression in terms of material and technology (breathability). I think you'll be fine even if I swear by my proquips

Marvellous. Just tried the Jacket on again. Fits brilliantly. Will look forward to using them this weekend!

And I'll bet once the jacket was on, you did a few practice swings just to make sure!!!
Am I right? :D

I have no idea what you're on about! :o :D

Bigslice - I just got two new MP T-11's which cost more than my full set of MP57's! Oh and my new Nike waterproofs are great (and free!) How's that? :D

Yep Can confirm I have a set and no complaints at all. No problems or Issues whatsoever they do the job (waterproof and windproof) and as others have said at a very reasonable price.

Sorry to bring up Galvin Green in a Nike thread but must say the gavlin green stuff is fantastic.

If it wasn't for a present I'm not too sure would I have bitten the bullet and spent so much on them cause they cost an absolute fortune but well worth it, if that makes any sense!

I find Nike stuff to be a good fit for my sporting god like physique.

Galvin green is for short fat people. Oops, shouldn't have said that.

Galvin green Jackets have way too much material in them so they are baggy, and the jackets are the same length, what ever the size, and always stupidly short. They also sound like a dust bin bag, and for the best part of £500 I expect a bit more.

Got a Nike jacket, and Sunderland Goretex trews. Works fine for me.
