We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!
I have one as it came when I brought the club, I would highly recommend that you dont get one, I just have no feel whatsoever and it's harder to judge everything. I'm getting rid of mine when my putters going to be shortened. Have a lesson instead (as above)
I don't like the 2 thumb grips but do have an oversized Winn on both my putters. I find it stops my using my wrists and forces a shoulder swing if that makes sense. Defo worth the few quid they cost if u have a problem with getting wristey
I had one a few years ago and like any change you make it seemed to help for a while, but then the bad habits seem to slowly creep back in, it did stop me from getting wristy ( if thats a word ) it,s whatever you feel comfortable with if it works then why not
I've started using a Mickleson style putting stroke. Once he's address the ball he moves the grip fractionally forward keeping the head of the club still - essentially delofting the face a little, before making his backstroke and swing.
I'm finding accuracy is a little better and distance control is quite a lot better. Still experimenting at the moment though so it may not stick!
If you find the Two Thumb grip to big what about trying a Golf Pride Jumbo Crown, that is what I use, gives good feel whilst you can use the idea of the Two Thumb.
