Apologies for all the questions.

I was unsure on my R7 TP irons, so i went into AG and hit some burner plus'. I was super impressed with how easy to hit and how straight they all went. So i ventured onto ebay, and bought a set of 10 irons for a bargain price.

However, after playing two rounds and hitting a few range balls, i was having problems with a draw, i tried my old R7's in-between, went straight. I even tried my old Wilson's, and they also went straight. I even tried a new burner plus from AG, along with mine. And the new one went straight! Had a look, and my club isn't lying straight on the floor, hence the draw.

Has anyone got successfully bent a burner plus iron without snapping it? Whats also the going rate for a full set of 10 to be adjusted?

A draw isn't the worst thing to have, but it i'd rather not have to get used to it!

Adjusting TM Burner Plus shouldn't be a problem. TM recommend +/- 2 degrees either way, but I guess slightly more may be possible in the upright direction (not really the direction you want!). I assume you're talking about the AG at Ufford who should be able to do adjustments for around £2-£3 per club, so you could be looking at £20-£30. Not a lot of "old school pros" left in Ipswich, but Kelvin at Rushmere or Alex at Waldringfield would also probably sort you out.

Most decent quality cast steel irons can be bent to +/- 2 degrees or more. Club makers generally charge about £25 to £30 for a loft and lie check and adjustment if required.

Do you have any contact details for anyone that is up to the task? Ufford just advised sending them back to TM. I think i've seen the necessary equipment at Bramford, but i can't remember!
