Anyone played Highbullen?

I have stayed there a couple times, Was a few years ago though (maybe 15 now, so things may well have changed).
The hotel was lovely, very picturesque and the food was decent. We went back a second time for an overnight stay (no golf). At the time I was a relative newbie to golf and looking back now I think the course was ok but lacked any real wow factor. I recall a nice hole (par 3) over water and generally it was well maintained and fairly open, which helped me as a novice.
I would say it would be a good place to go with family (there are good leisure facilities there too) but there are probably other courses worth trying if it was a golfers only trip.
