I always feel a bit underwhelmed whenever I've played it. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice course but somehow I just seem to expect a bit more 
South East? Hardly is it?![]()
And the 12th is a beast. 474 yard par 4, if you don't get your drive away then forget about scoring on that hole.

Well I know that's debatable - as it might equally be the South Midlands or the South West too - the local ITV stations can be any of those and all within a small radius of the course.
I'm in Reading (only about 20 miles from Frilford) which is commonly called the South East but it's also borderline London and Southern :mmm:
whats awful about it? great birdie opportunity with the risk and reward nature.
For me it's not great off the tee with the car park in play in the left... can't imagine many going for the green.
After such a nice round, just a dissapointing finish
