Just wondered as its on my radar and seems a good price for a 3/4 yr old Audi that looks pretty good. Anyone got any experience good or bad?

I have a 08 Le Mans 3.0TDi which is basically an S Line with a couple of extra bits. I love the car and will probably replace it with more or less exactly the same one again.

I don't find it too stiff, definitely smoother than my previous 3-series with run flats which would have shaken your teeth out on bumpy roads. I have 19" wheels with 255/35 Michelins on. The car is great for motorway mile munching and can comfortably cruise along all day. We take the car over from Berkshire to Ireland a couple of times a year and it is great for the run up to Holyhead but also for the local roads in rural Ireland.

Large boot and good space inside. I like the MMI which controls sat-nav, audio, settings, bluetooth phone etc. I get decent mpg and the insurance is not too bad. Servicing at a main dealer costs quite a bit, though.

thanks guys, no cons really then apart from dealer servicing but thats the same for all cars. I'm after a 3 year old one to keep the price around £16k but I love the alloys on the 2 yr old ones better

Used to drive an Audi but moved to Mercedes not because of the car but the dealers were pants. Good car if you can avoid the dealers.

Nice sounding beast Ethan. In my opinion you wont go wrong with an Audi.

When I'm car hunting its usually for Japanese or German models mainly for reliability and quality.

I loved my A6, never understood the "too stiff" thing. The boot is amazing for gobbling up golf gear, stacks of space.

The thing I thought was crap was the sat nav doesn't do full postcodes so you have tohave a decent idea of where you're going and notbereliant on ze german sat nav
