You would think it was the perfect situation, my wife is away for the weekend so I had prepared myself for a weekend on the course. I then look in the fixtures book to see if there is a comp on Saturday and find that the course is closed for the Ladies Open. Whilst the temptation to spend Saturday watching 3 games of rugby with a few beers is strong, the lure of the course is even stronger so wondered if there was anyone in the East Midlands who would not mind an extra one in their Saturday grouping. Cannot promise quality golf but I am more than able to hold my own with the banter.
