I'm thinking of switching away from Virgin Mobile, and giffgaff looks like good value.
I'm used to having a rolling monthly SIM-only contract.
giffgaff's "recurring goodybag" appears to be the same thing, but I'm not 100% sure.
Can anyone confirm?

my work phone contract is on giff-gaff. The recurring goodybag is as far as I understand it the same as a rolling SIM only contract.

I've never had any issues with them as a provider.

I can’t help with giffgaff, but I can fully recommend Smarty. I have my private number with them(it uses the 3network) and I haven’t paid for a full fee since I first took it out. It’s a sim only, 30 day contract that gives you money back of your next months bill if you don’t use all your data.

GiffGaff is pretty good. I have the wife and three daughters on a £10 recurring goody bag each (10gb data iirc), during lock down recently I have downgraded them to the £6 given they are never out of the house and have as much household wifi as they could need for making whatsapp/facetime calls as well as internet usage.

Thanks for all the responses.
Sounds like giffgaff is the way to go.
(I did consider Smarty, but the 3 network has worse coverage than O2 where I am based).

Voxi is Vodafone's equivalent if they have a good signal in your area.
Yes, had a quick look at them, but their deals don't seem quite as good as giffgaff.

Also, wife is with Talk Mobile, who are Vodafone, and we reckon it's probably a good idea to be on different networks in case one of them happens to go down.
