Thinking of trying to get a ticket, 200 quid is a lot of money though, so is it worth it? And if so does anyone have any tips about where to camp etc

Last time I went I saw the Kinks. Used to live opposite the site, so went a lot in the 70's, early 80's. Take your wellies, and don't swim in the river !

I am going to Download this year if anyone is going. There for the full stint, 5 days in a tent 3 days of metal.

The kids have gone the last couple of years, always a mud bath, but they enjoyed it. Cheap Tesco tents are the order of the day, if there not burnt on the last night, just leave them there

Going on the Saturday VIP. Had info that Kasabian, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, Mumford and Sons, Two Door Cinema Club will be playing then.

The Cure headline on the Friday with Foo Fighters on the Sunday.

Small gigs are good but a big festival is worth going for as good for meeting people and added atmosphere.

The Foo Fighters will be superb in fact I am tempted to go now. Their gig at Milton Keynes last year was one of the best that I have been to.

I went to Download in 2007, but even then I decided that I was too old to camp out ;)

I'd love to go this year because Ginger (of The WiLDHEARTS) is playing but wife and I can't afford it.
