They are doing some great deals on stay and play at the moment through Your Golf Travel, just wondered if it was worth the drive

Yes, I played it a couple of years ago. It's a fair course, not that old so not really matured but not a bad test of golf. Had a 9th watering hole as well. Hotel ther as well.

Played a couple of years ago, from what I remember it was a fairly flat course, but a enjoyable one, there is also a nine hole course as well , which was fun.

The greens I found very hard , they were in cracking nick when I played but I am crap at reading greens and I had a lot of testing putts.

Hotel was fine , food was ok and beer fine.

The only thing we found was that the course was very busy, but with what we paid we did not mind.

We are looking to go back and play it again at sometime.

Not a fan personally.

Can be very hard (ground) in the summer. They took out some nice holes and put in some unimpressive ones a few years back.
The 17th is a nice hole but thats about it for me. Haven't seen it in good nick for quite awhile and knowing a few of the members they have been struggling up there for condition. I found the club house staff not very helpful also.

I haven't been up there in a couple of years though. The new holes may have bedded in better and things may have improved. The first few years I played it I did quite enjoy it.

I played there MARCH 2011. the course is nice but the greens were terrible as they had died due to some issues. we payed £36 pp for 2 rounds inc breaki and use of the leisure facilities. The general environment was very friendly. They also have a 9 hole course which is nice. For what we payed we felt ashamed to go and have a moan about the greens lol.
