Anybody ventured out today

Went to the range as the course was shut, wind was into off the right and that bad i had to hit nearly a full 4 iron and aim 40 yards right of the green we have thats 100 yards away. A full blown driver was lucky to be going 150 yards.

I've played in wind before but i've never experinced it as bad as that, the noise of it ripping through the trees was scary at times.

Played 9 hole Stableford! Very very windy!!!

Was due to play today, but very strong wind and heavy rain put paid to that, hopefully Monday will be better

Got out for 18 today and yesterday. Played really nice yesterday but bogeyed the last for a 71.

Today was mental! 122yd 5iron. But......played as well as I ever have!! 73 blows today, amazingly 12 GIR in there too.

Playing again 2morow, may struggle in the calm conditions!!

Played 18 holes this morning. A few puddles on the fairway, but greens were fine, though some interesting pin positions. Qualifying stableford tomorrow.

Was going to play today but the wind was too much so postponed it until tomorrow when the forecast is a lot better so fingers crossed

Just been to the range then photographing football this afternoon

Have tomorrow afternoon off, weather forecast is good and courses have no bookings after noon - think I might get 18 holes in

Hit the range today. Performed worse than the Fulham back 4. Good to be swinging a club though after the recent hiatus

chucking it down first thing so waited untill 10.30, cleared up and was no a bad day in the end, might even play tomorrow as my good lady is off to choose a new piano.

Had a knock today, played pretty well, course a little wet in places but good to be out, only had one small shower too. May play in comp tomorrow but def playing Tuesday.

Sad though that only managed to fit in 2 games throughout holidays

How bad was it?

Course was in excellent condition considering the weather we've had.

5 over front 9, with a 5 over back 9 to match.


7 over last Saturday, 10 over today. People will start mistaking me for someone who can actually play :whoo:
