Played in Friday fiddle, 2 out of 3 to count and we came second with 70, winners 71. Had 5 birdies in my 79 , was fair windy but dry with us.

Yep played today - course was fine , a few puddles in bunkers and soft under foot. But played in worse on Monday

No chance. Course closed due to water and some dodgy trees. Groundsman can't get on course with vehicles to sort out trees.. Will be middle of next week at the earliest. Best of luck to everybody else trying to get out.

Yup, managed 9 holes after getting back home from St Annes, no way near as windy in Salford as it was at St Annes..
Fine in Nairn today.bright and sunny about 10deg, no wind to speak of.
Played ok, won the money and birdied all 4 of the summer par 3's

Played this morning, very very badly.
Best I did was par 2 holes...says everything you need to know haha.
Course wasn't actually that bad, bit of a nightmare with the wind holding the balls up though.

Yes ,been out twice with my 2 rescue greyhounds on the local common.They had a good run and I hit 2 balls with an 8i, just to get ready for an 8.15 start tomorrow .

Battered in to submission by the worst wind I can remember playing in. Best score of the day was 30 points with CSS 75 (RO). I had 25 with 3 holes left and finished with 25 - felt as if I had had 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

VERY BAD
Club steward was shocked I was going out as NO ONE ELSE HAD ATTEMPTED TO GO OUT TODAY.
Managed 6 holes (new after 2 I wouldn't last much more) mixture of very very strong winds AND showers/rain was just awful conditions.Strangely enough did well so enjoyed it to a certain extent.

Course closed or would have tried it (I think!). So we went for a 10m hike instead and the wind was ummmm interesting!
Email from the club to say they have worked today to provide a short 9 hole Par 3 course out of the drier bits so we'll give that a miss and playing Royston tomorrow and Oundle on Sunday instead.

Went out in gusts of 50-60mph, can't remember ever been on the course and hating it as much as today.
Low sun followed by the wind just made it ridiculous. Ended up doing 9 holes and can safety say I didn't enjoy it one bit.
Think the hangover didn't help much either

Played 12 holes this morning in very strong winds. -1 gross so was happy with that. Last hole tough par 4 but down wind, decided to just use my 50 degree vokey. Good bladed first left me about 190 down wind. Bladed it to 12 feet and then holded the putt with the vokey for a birdie 3. My playing partner wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped! Good fun though despite the winds.

Scary overnight living as I am on the edge of a building site with a load of their stuff rattling around. Hairy until mid morning. My course is only open on the front 9 and not that playable either by all accounts. I had a lazy day and stayed in doing my but around the house. Off to the range tomorrow and then off to a short game area on Sunday for a morning working on that facet.
