Didnt know which section would suit this question really so i thought i would stick it here :D

Anybody played Conwy? Thinking of going for a round there next year maybe as it looks very nice on the website etc.

I've not but I've heard loads of great reports about it, there's an open the day before Wallasey.

It looks very good on the website and well worth a knock i reckon. Yeah there seems to be some nice options of opens there too, will deffo have a look into them. Looks like theres a 36 holer the week before Wallasey as well :).

I've played it a couple of times you wont be disappointed. I think wrote down somewhere my thoughts on all the holes,i will see if i can find it.

We've got a reciprocal agreement with Conwy so we play it 2 or 3 times a year. It's a cracking course with a tough finish and has held many pro comps to include a few European Senior Opens and Welsh Ladies Open so get it booked as I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.

Cheers fella. I did a search on here but didnt find anything too specific about it :)

the place is a cracking track and far better than most we keep getting mentioned for a grand meet, tough as old boots if the wind blows and the final holes are killers, great club house and the members are friendly enough,do LLANDUDNO for the week end and play north wales as well.

Thats another couple of good endorsements :). Looks like i will be playing an open there next year then :).

I have found my notes and have tried to put them in the review thread twice but can't seem to do it for some reason if you PM me your email i will send them to you.

birchy,we could include CONWYN,NORTH WALES,PRESTATYN in a big meet weekend next year, plenty of hotels cater for golf breaks in LLANDUDNO and very reasonably priced.

Its definately an option pal. The courses look fantastic and well worth playing. We will have to see how the meets stack up early next year as weve already got a lot on with the OOM and other stuff.

First time ive looked into playing in Wales meself though and it looks promising. The courses look very good value for money as well.

they are all top courses and better than the ones on the wirral in my opinion.

Conwy is a great course,a real good enjoyable test. I thought North Wales GC was a real let down though.
It looks great on the website that's because there's about 4 good holes and they're the ones you see on the website, the rest of the course is really not worth going out of the way for IMO.

If I was planning a 4 day trip I'd go for Conwy, North Wales, Hoylake and Wallasey personally! I'd put Conwy and Wallasey at the top of the list!

Funnily enough im already playing Wallasey & Hoylake next year :)

Conwy and North wales have both got plenty opens on too so i think im gonna play at both them too. Hard to say no when they are offering like 18 or 36 holes for £35 quid. Ive payed £25 quid before absolute dump courses!
