Any Renault / car mechanics out there?

My misses has a Renault captur and out of no where this little blighter drops from behind the passenger side footwell.

Does anyone know what it is and where I should be looking for it to relocate.

Temp sensing probe for the climate control?
Looking at it, it has no visible signs of wetness on it or the carpet.
How about when you hold it when the engines running? Does anything happen then?

Haven’t held it when the engine is running magnet,

Mrs socks is now telling me “ apparently “ the heater doesn’t blow warm on the feet, would that make sense?

So the million dollar question, where should I be looking to re home it

Ahh...could it be the motorised air direction adjuster?

I would be looking up under the glovebox/centre console judging by the cable length
