Gareth Wright taught me to play the game when he was at Swanston. He's back down at West Linton now so I've not seen him for ages. Good guy and strikes the ball amazingly well. Sure he either won the Scottish PGA or came 2nd a couple of years ago. Think I need another lesson off him.
I know a few of the guys playing. Ronan is the most high profile player understandably, he is also a very nice guy. Had the pleasure of playing a sudden death playoff against him last year in a 54 hole tournament at the Roxburghe. Managed to beat him after 7 holes.
Jonathan Lomas was on the European Tour for a good few years and I think he won an event in the 90s.
Ronan is an interesting guy and a great connoisseur of good courses. So he would like the Kings a lot better than the PGA Centenary where Thomas Bjorn won a few weeks ago.
