I had an eye test last week - I now have the perfect excuse for missing the ball, my eyes have got worse.

went to collect the new glasses yesterday - they're worse so instead of having the new ones before I go on holiday (I was looking forward to the prescrition polaroids) I have another test on Sunday.

now to the question. with the new glasses I was seeing a ghost image. at a distance of six feet it was 1/4 inch below the real image.
can you tell from this whether the new glasses have been made too strong or too weak?

Can't answer the question but I found having my eyes lasered was the best thing ever and cured all the problems glasses were having on my game.

Chris

not that the prescription is necessarily too strong/weak, but more like they'vegot teh axis wrong.
Suprisingly too common these days.
New glasses with a changed prescription shoudl feel a little odd for a day or 2, but should not actually be significantly odd.

A couple of years back i picked up my new specs then drove round teh M25 - couldnt see in my near view mirror - they had made them wrong.
A year or so later i was gettinga nother pair, when the opthalmologist pointe dout that the pair i had been wearing for a year had been made wrong !

Get them checked

went back for a retest yesterday, different optician, different result - but she said the results were changing through the test and recommended getting tested for diabetes.
