Another Scottish Gem

I played at Ladybank Golf Club in Fife today. I had played it once many years ago, but had forgotten how good it is. I reckon it must be one of the best parkland courses in Scotland. Penty of tight fairways and good dog-legs. It makes you think! (£22 for a round too!)

Clive it is a fantastic track,about 10-15 years ago a pile of us used to go up for their scratch open 36 holer and I really enjoyed it but I have not played it for maybe 4 years now so must get back.One of the guys who went up always complained that the only bit that spoilt the course was the fact that there were too many 'wooden spectators'!

You have to be straight and there are a few more bunkers now. Part of getting the 2010 Open Qualifying I'm afraid.

I have played Ladybank many times in their handicap Open but not for some time.It is a real gem and given the choice I would rather play Ladybank than The Old Course (10 miles away)

As you don't tell us where you stay I don't know, but if you do stay South of the Border then you should.
