Another Orka Fitting

I'm back after a session with Mr Orka.

What can I say?

I have been striking the ball really well of late, last weekend 43points, and yesterday played well within handicap, first seven holes only +1 gross. Today I couldn't hit a barn door from 10 yards. Managed enough good hits to get a reading and fitting, but overall dissappointed with my performance.

I have been measured at 1* flat and needing standard grips with an extra layer of tape. regular steel shafts in my irons and soft stiff in the hybrid and woods.

The stats showed I was getting about 1 extra club length carry with the new irons, and reaching 200yrds with roll with the 3 wood.

So, having been a good boy, I've ordered the following;

5-pw
52* & 56* wedge
4 hybrid
3 wood

Greetings Orkaites, and fellow keen golfers. Please excuse my ignorance as I'm never one to write within a forum. So this is a first for me and I hope all within this forum get chance to read this small piece.

I'm encouraged by recent comments and feedback from you all with regards to Orka and simply have to tip my hat and say thank you for the kind words spoken and honesty you have shared. I know many of you have now converted to the awesomeness that is indeed Orka as a result I would like to welcome you to the game of golf! ;)

Whether or not you come for a fitting or indeed purchase something is in fact irrelevant to me and please forgive that statement as you might think "behave Alex". The most important thing is that you leave educated!! Thus giving you the tools and knowledge to know what your purchasing in future regardless if it's being Orka or not. As a brand it's our privileage that guys like you wish to play with it as well as our many accounts whom wish to sell it because without you folk we would still be a pipe dream! I fear the so called "bigger brands" have certainly lost sight of this fact and feel its your privileage to be playing their brand as well as those wishing to sell it. This amazes me, as without you they would be nowhere!

As a brand it is our duty to give you all honest and revelant information based on years of experience and knowledge to help you purchase the right equipment to improve your game so you can enjoy a sport you love. I don't believe in what is known as "brand Bull" sales tactics, you the end user have to trust your judgement and feel safe in the knowledge that your best interests have in fact been considered, rather than just being a walking ££££ sign to varying retailers and brands.

We don't proclaim to be the saviour of the hardware industry and nor do we brag about what we do, we are a truly unique British golf brand that offers awesomeness as standard with the service you deserve. I hope you all enjoy your Orka's over the coming years and please should you have any questions regardless if it's about Orka or anything else don't be affraid to ask.

All the best in your golfing careers....

Alex.
