On Friday I bid on a Ping G15 9* driver with a stiff Serrano shaft which was the same as the driver I was road testing belonging to a mate. Bought it for £56 plus postage, given the holiday week end he dispatched it by Royal Mail and it arrived today ( no sig required) .

Absolutely mint head and just the usual scuff mark where the bag rubs the shaft but otherwise perfect! It went well at the range so will accompany on two rounds this weekend

Isn't it great when a plan comes together !

Just waiting on a 12 month old Cobra staff bag that I picked up for £20 over the weekend. Looks mint and will be lovely with the new Amp Cell Pros I'm hoping to be ordering next week. Mmmmmm Cobra.

Not exactly eBay but I'm waiting on delivery of an item off here. I brought Faders Ping bag from his thread in the sale section.

I'd rather help out on here if I can before hitting eBay.

Waiting on 2 wedges arriving. One Cleveland and one mizuno. Less than 40 quid all in. Love ebay me. Just hope the boss is at work when they get here

I was wondering if there are any help groups for compulsive eBay equipment buyers. Having had my wings clipped by HID a few weeks ago I have taken to having stuff delivered at work using a complex money laundering scheme that Pablo Escobar would be proud of to hide the transactions from her.

I went through the balls phase first. Then the buy a driver and keep it in the bag for a fortnight phase, then the sell all the drivers and buy one decent one, then sell all the balls and buy loads of the make youve decided you like best, then the 2nd hand jumpers that are too small/look silly and have to be sold back in a job lot. The clima cool phase, the dreaded Scotty Cameron phase. I've bought a Garmin that I had to pretend was a new mobile phone from work and I found a wedge under my desk yesterday that I had forgotten I ordered and can't take home until she is out.

The bank account has to be balanced and eBay purchases have to be covered by sales of things from the house, like the cutlery, the digital radio from the conservatory, some of our grass which i pretended was taken from Wembley in 1977, the dog and some of HID's underwear. I have my eye on Cobra Amps before the summer, well you really need to don't you, but one of the children will have to be sold to cover that purchase so I am hiding that child in cupboards for extended periods to see if they are missed and have told her we have traced her real mummy and daddy.

haha, quality. No need to justify purchases, be proud of it and post every purchase made, especially if its a proper bargain. Even if you feel you don't need it and your conscience kicks in... don't let it, your a golfer and its your god given right to purchase on a whim!

fortune favours the golfer on ebay

How innocent I must be !

I have only done eleven purchases on EBay in 13 years with no hiding, lying , selling the only child!
