Another dead proud dad thread

Its been a bit of a crap few months re daughters divorce and she has had a hell of a lot on her plate. Not helped with her being on a police firearms course. Earlier today she took her final assessment and passed, she has now been presented with her certificate and is now officially the second female firearms officer in her patch. Chuffed to bits for her as its what she has always wanted. Seeing her in all her fireams gear is a bit unnerving and i would sooner she never felt the need to carry arms. But I suppose times have changed from when she was our little baby. Big cuddle coming off dad tomorrow.
Oh ah she must be able to shoot straight co they have asked her to do her rifle/sniper training.

It's great being a proud parent isn't it. Great stuff. I hope she never has to use her training but at least you know if she does then she is as well trained as she can be.

Not wishing to hijack the thread , but my middle daughter Nikki has just qualified as a midwife aged 21 and has landed a job at Birmingham Women's Hospital
Uber proud ( if we can use that term)

Great stuff matey and while I hope she never uses the weapon on duty,I'm pleased to have the deterrent there, especially in these current times. If only you could hit a golf ball as straight

we all know who she has copied that off.

Great stuff Tashy. Don't think too many will be arguing with her. My daughter set up her own swim school a couple of years back, and now has over 450 children having lessons. Not bad for a 23 year old.

Great hospital for midwifery, arguably one of the best in the country. She'll fly there

Ya big softie...... you can't fight it, embrace it and enjoy every moment as before you know it, they are off and away and doing their own thang, and you are suddenly 25 years older.

There are things in life that happen which gives you a differant outlook on life itself. Birth and death being two. Daughters deffo fall into the first category. Flippin grandkids do as well.
