Annual Review - When does your Club do yours??

I understand its not specified when it has to be done but would think that there is an argument for it in Oct, Nov time after the course is shortened for winter & Q Comps finish. If Software 2000 says there is reason to modify handicaps based on that seasons results, why would you wait 'till Feb or so to hold the Annual Review? Comments please

If qualifiers end in October - as they do at many clubs - then I can't think of a reason why it can't be done as soon as they stop.
If qualifiers continue all year then as long as its done at the same time every year it shouldn't matter - Jan/Feb seems to make as much sense as any other time.

Our Club Committee is voted in at our AGM in mid-December. The first committee meeting is the second Tuesday in January preceded by a meeting of the Handicap Committee. We run our Annual Review report on 1st January for consideration at the January meeting, and that report covers the full calendar year every year. Since we run qualifiers all year round, that seems a logical timetable for us.
