He was given a caution for an act with a 19 year old man in 1993
He wasn’t a convicted peadophile at that time

It’s not a criminal conviction but it is an admission of guilt to avoid a criminal trial. Edit; usually for a minor offence…

Unfortunately as we all know there are many people in lots of walks of life through the 60’s ,70’s ,80’s and into the 2000’s carried out horrific levels of abuse
Those people were friends , colleagues etc of some high people and those people no doubt thought they were innocent etc

In October 2015, Ball was sentenced to 32 months' imprisonment for misconduct in public office and indecent assault after admitting the abuse of 18 young men over a period of 15 years from 1977 to 1992. Further charges of indecently assaulting two boys, aged 13 and 15, were allowed to lie on file in a contentious decision by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)

As far as I understand 'lapses in procedure' is not an arrestable offence and if you mean his security by 'real protection team' what on earththis got to do with his elder brother (at the time he wasn't Head of State)?
It seems as if people are trying to create new offences and conspiracies to suit their agendas - I suppose this is the new reality in this world.

Isn't it a private estate? That's part of why he moved, it's gated and a big old area to mooch around in.

Large parts of the estate are open to the public and the paparazzi will be camping there desperate to get some sort of pic/footage of him...
I've only seen clips of it on TV, don't really know it. I suppose they can control that area better than other places. Best of a bad situation.

The odious cretin that is Andrew Mountbatten has had known dalliances with a known sex trafficker, known paedo, etc etc. people have committed suicide over this creature. And all that happened was that he was stripped of titles. That came from the crown, not the powers that be.
Then he is alleged to have committed misconduct in public office and so is arrested. What’s that all about.
This clown has repeatedly said he is innocent in all he has done but he has done nothing to help clear his name. I hope he goes down for a long time.

If you're talking about Neil Todd, the abuse started in 1991 when Todd was 17 and and Ball was 60 and continued until Ball was cautioned in 1993.
Ball admitted the abuse of 18 young men over a period of 15 years from 1977 to 1992.
In 1993 he was cautioned by police and didn't prosecute Ball for his sexual assault on the 2 boys 13 and 15.
''A caution is commonly used to resolve cases where full prosecution is not seen as the most appropriate solution. Accepting a caution requires an admission of guilt.''
So he admitted assaulting young boys between 1977 and 1992, five had encountered Ball while they were still at school. At least one abusive encounter took place on school premises.
The only reason other offences weren't taken into account and the caution was given was because the prosecutions had to start within 12 months of the offence being committed and any more scandal would only harm the church
