An hour in and no one has mentioned th T word

1 over after 9.

Unspectacular start but you can't really tell how good/bad it's going to be until after the first round

Agree Tiger has lost it & will never be great, not that he ever was mind you.
EH ?? welcome to our planet dear visitor come in peace .. What a strange statement , only seen the highlights on skysports news he seemed to miss a lot of birdie putts & not by much at that , couple of them fall & he aint far back , that does mean he is making alot of chances tho , lets see if he can turn it around in round 2 ..................." not that he ever was mind you "... just to be clear you are talking about Tiger woods & you do mean golf yea? you do know thats who the post is about ? the golfer ? jeepers that was some strange statement ,

Watched a fair bit of him last night and to me he still seems to be fighting the old swings,he made some great swings but when the questions are asked he seems to revert back and seems to be struggling to put it all together under the gun.

That and he putted like a chopper. If he putted decently he would have been under par.I still think what he needs is 2 consecutive rounds of say 5 unders to build the confidence up and from there I am sure he can contend again.

thought he played some very good shots but negated by a lot of very average (by modern pro standards)

he has a strange swing now, he really dips his head and I think thats whats cocking it up for him (I am no expert but it cant make it easy for him with that much movement)

I would just like to see him loosen up a bit and try and enjoy it, too bloody serious for my liking, only time I saw him smile was when he did that helter skelter putt at 18

Tiger is a "Great" golfer.
Im sure his time will come again.
I agree with Gibbo,i would love to see him relax and smile a bit more.
Listening to Pugh last night saying Tiger doesnt know where its going, welcome to our world.
It also looks like hes been back to the gym.
I do find it quite surprising that people think he will never be a force again.
Hes still young enough, and im sure hes still got the drive to show all the doubters wrong.
And in my opinion a golf tournament with Tiger Woods in,is a much more interesting.

Is the correct answer.

It's his putting that is his biggest problem. His long game has always been erratic, but at the moment he is not saving himself on the greens as he did in his pomp. Saw the stats last night and has gone from the best putter a few years back to 50 + in the last year.
