An Aussie or an Englishman.

An Aussie - Englishmen don't appear capable of winning majors.

Aside from the British Open, Australia has won 2 majors - Elk and ogilvy (and NZ 1 - cambo) since then (vs Faldo 96 Masters). My pick was and remains Jason Day to win one in US sooner rather than later.

England is a massive underachiever in majors - no doubting Donald is the best player in the world but doesn't really come close in majors. Every other no. 1 that I can think of was a force in majors (even if they only won 1 - Duval, Lehman, Langer?).

...... And, in the context of your statement. Adam Scott is?

Incapable of winning a major? Looks like it! :(

Strange how england and australia produce so many good players but little to show for it in majors yet the likes of argentina and fiji do pretty well!

Fiji - what with their multitude of great players?

This chaps won a few things in his time!

I think Adam Scott might just do good things in the USPGA this year.

But, in terms of the Open, I think it more likely an Englishman than an Aussie will win it. Not necessarily one of the "big three" though; maybe someone still to make the breakthrough.
