worth putting any 'exceptional' deals links here, in my experience sales are usually just shifting the stuff they cant sell so I wont be expecting the 'good' stuff to be in a sale, I'd love to be wrong though

I picked up a set of Wilson Staff di7 irons for £189, cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

Well.

Went straight from work and can honestly say that's the worst sale i've ever seen!! Unless you want an R9 6 iron for a fiver

One good did come of it though. I got to try the 3 Scotty Cameron models I've been looking at online and can honestly say I'm very impressed with them and have pretty much settled on the one I "may" get

Definatley considering one as a 30th birthday present!

Tried the California Montery and Del Mar and the Newport 2.

After hitting quiiiiiite a few balls with each one, I found I was most consistant with the Del Mar both with distance control and accuracy (balls putted).

The look at address is vastly different from my current TM putter and so is the feel but can honestly say the roll off the Scotty along with the feel was more to my liking.

Excellent choice I have one lying in wait if the fastback ever plays up.

Seems like the majority of their products are regular price and only odd-ball items are reduced.

Had a look myself in the Bolton store yesterday but they had nothing of interest so I just bought a new wet weather glove.

Chap on the till only wanted to try and sell me tee's.

Seen a few bits of clothing reduced. They have a lot of good looking Ping gear which may appeal especially to the Ping fraternity.
