The Alzheimers Society are running a survey along with the University of Edinburgh, university psychology depts do a lot of work in this field. All replies would be helpful.

Please note, I have no link to this survey so any of the usual comments moaning about 'why ask question 4'? etc are pointless.

Don't worry, it was more about asking people what they would still like to do should they ever get alzheimers, how normal would they like their life to remain, what things they would still want to do. Activities, etc.

Ah, they must have received enough replies or hit their deadline.

It wasn't my survey but thank you to those who filled it in or tried to. Every bit helps.

Incidentally if anyone is unfortunate enough to know someone who is living with dementia then I would recommend a book by a lady called Wendy Mitchell, Somebody I Used to Know. She is a remarkable woman who lives with alzheimer's but is able to express what she is going through, how it affects her etc. It is an eye opener and helps you understand how the illness can impact people and what you can do to help them.
