Anyone suggest any good golf games. Played something called Casino the other day – if you shoot a 4 and your opponent gets a five they owe you 54p. If you shoot a four and they score nine they owe you 94p. Heard of another game called Peruvian Goalkeepers where apparently your opponent has one chance per round to kick your ball wherever they like except you have the chance to "save" it.

"Two Boos and a yard of string" is a classic game - each/or one player is allowed to shout twice at anytime during his/her opponents back swing, preparation, putt etc (not so gd on some courses unless you out on your own) Then you need a pair of string and some scissors to cut up the yard of string and use it as you see fit to move your ball... eg you can claim a putt that has just lipped out, get out a bunker, bring it back in bounds etc!

Cross country golf was always a favourite of mine as a kid. Summer nights when no one else is on the course-i remember we once made a great 800yard hole from the 6th temporary to the 8th green!

We sometimes play a game called "Battle Golf." It's fourball better ball but the first team to win a hole gets to stop their opponents using one of their clubs (not the putter). If they then win a hole they can choose to take the club back or to remove one of their opponents clubs from the game. It can end up being quite funny if one side can't use say: their driver, 3 wood and 3 iron, sand wedge and pitching wedge.
