And as a result I've edited your post to remove the questionable term you directed at him..

You impolite man, read what I wrote again, it does not say there are not, its says I would love to believe there was. I am not aware of it and would love to think its the case. I was actually backing you or in this case Darth.

Mind your mouth when you are talking to me, and read posts before you spout crap like that!!!

Aye, Nae bother big man!

Quaking in my boots.

the last EIGHT posts have nothing to do with the OP:(

getting back to the thread...........
i totally agree with what has been wrote.....re - Brand Snobbery, better stuff out there if you are willing to be a bit more adventurous
Ive tried loadsa less 'mainstream' gear in last few years, most, much much better than big branded clubs
I actually posted about having Vega wedges, but was called 'Rich' , almost showing off, yet I picked these up for LESS than the cost of a Vokey......and believe me, they are different CLASS to a Vokey or any other big brand model.
Ive got a Sonartec ( now out of business ) wedge in my bag ...... Excellent, and have used their Hybrids in the past too
Ive had Tour Edge gear, Nickent clubs, Solus wedges, all equal to or Better than the 'usual' big name club OEM's
Ive a friend that as a KZG fairway.......and chances are he will change ( normally once a month ) and have an eye on that;)
Theres a whole new world of golf gear out there that DOESNT have Callaway, Ping, Titleist, stamped on the bottom
Id say go for it.........try it out..........u could be ( probably will be ) surprised

I've sourced a supplier who is going to let me try the TM R11 and the Alpha with various shafts and a flightscope, should be interesting to compare. He has the Tour edition of the R11 so that should be even more interesting

i'm reliably informed that the V5 is the lowest spinning head available today - a head with a notch higher loft than usual may be required...

there are plenty of niche players out there if you're willing to look hard enough :)
