Algarve Golf

Have played the Old Course, Gramacho, Pinta, Silves, Faldo, O'Connor & Alto

The best were the Old, Faldo & O'Connor IMHO

The Old Course is great! I'll have to give Faldo & O'Connor IMHO a shot then!

For me I think my favourite is probably the royal course at Vale Do Lobo, the 16th is amazing!

Thought the only thing missing on the faldo course was a windmill to knock your ball through.

palmares was on another planet. Just stunning with some
drop dead gorgeous holes

I have only played Oceanico courses, in order I would rate the Old definitely the best followed by Victoria & O'Connor. really didn't wasn't that keen on the Faldo I thought it was too gimmicky, Also played Pinhal it was ok but too much walking between holes.

Played all of the Pestana courses based close to Vilamoura a few years ago and was impressed, particularly with the one which hosted a Senior Tour event, very nice course. Would recommend those, was more impressed with those than the Oceanico ones tbh.

Palmares I love.
Penina I hate, you couldn't pay me enought to get me back there!!

The 17th hole at palmares is just a stunner the views and the tee shot. Lordy lordy. Played with a guy from Germany who was a lower hcap. He played well. But on that hole i hit a scremer of a drive. Will deffo play that course again

PS. It will be cheaper booking twilight rates after 2 pm. Palmares price inc buggy. 👍 As does Faldo. Otherwise they are to far to walk.

Had a voucher to use for Golfbreaks, so have sorted a deal for September to include Pinhal, Millenium, Old Course and Vila Sol. Wanted to play Victoria, but the Portugal Open is on then. Looked at Monte Rei too but the green fees there are enough to make your eyes water :)

Lovely courses all of them! Same applied to me when I looked at Monte Rei!

Played both the O'Connor and the Faldo. Loved them both for different reasons. Faldo was brutal hard. O'Connor was more traditional. Loved it so much we are going back this year. I think Rick Shiels and Peter Finch are currently putting up vids of the O'Connor with the Faldo to come. Worth keeping an eye out for! :)

I was lucky enough to play the Monte Rei twice with three other people a few weeks ago.

I won it as a prize from the Daily Mail last year.

Absolutely fantastic course and service.

Appreciate the green fees are eye watering but you really get what you pay for.

They also upgraded us from an apartment to their €2.5m show villa

It was like MTV Cribs!
