Aldila DVS 60 shaft

Hi forum,i have just bought a Cleveland launcher 2009 driver on ebay for the tasty sum of £41! It came fitted with a rather unexpected Aldila DVS 60 shaft,am i right in thinking it will suit a swing speed of 95-100mph and produce a lower flight? Any help appreciated as i dont know much about custom shafts! Cheers.

Decent shaft and the S flex will probably work with that driver swing speed. Launch is mid, I think, and the shaft is designed to feel stable and solid.

I'd say that was about spot on. The "old" NV 65 (green) was a very popular shaft for players with that sort of swing speed. I can't see the DVS being much different, if anything, it might even be designed to be a little higher than the old NV 65. Should be good i.m.o.

A DVS is designed for a higher launch than a DV.
