AG Fitting Days - How are the participants chosen??

If 8 slots are available for the upcoming AG days in Scotland, how is it that one exceptionally lucky individual has been picked to attend on both days?!?

Were there really only 7 applicants available at the required times? judging from the responses on the original thread the answer to this is a resounding "no"

Are we therefore selected on the basis of length of service on the forum? quality of posts? quantity of posts? likely quotability in the magazine? photogenics, or lack thereof?!? quality of begging email in the Jim'll Fixit stylee? something else?

There appears to be a little more to it than merely emailing your details in as suggested by the original post................

I have absolutely nothing against the forum member who is lucky enough to be going twice (I really really hope he has a great time and comes away with loads of brilliant goodies), but surely it would be better with 8...... or am I missing something fundamental here?

I think Stevieboy and TaylormadePhil are two of the four going to EK on Monday.
I'm off to Clydebank Tuesday with three other unknowns.
And Craw has gone fishin'...
