My wife has been offered a set of Ping Faith irons (4&5 ibrid 7-sw). 8months old average good condition, by another female club member. Problem is can't find any guide as to value and don't wish to insult her. Any suggestions as to how much depreciation % wise she shoud expect? ?

P.S. Can't find any second hand, on the net, to compare .

only way id progress is check out golf bidder and fill in the enquiry form as if you were selling them, this will give you an approximate value regarding trade in and should guide you on what to offer, generally golfbiider bids around half of their ebay/use pro shop value.

Yep. Started to do that but got to page where demand Credit/Debit card details, inside leg measurement, etc. Cancelled registration at that point!

Usedping.co.uk have some ladies set not faith though around £340 they'll offer approx half of resale value to buy I believe so maybe looking around £170 as a guesstimate?

What's the asking price?

For comparison, lowest price that I can see for a new set 7-SW is £399, or £490 with the 5H & 6H added. I'm guessing that with a lack of 2nd hand options the costs for an 8 month old set would remain close to that for new. Ultimately the price is down to how much your willing to pay for them. Maybe 30% less than new as an offer?

She muted £350 - £375. Cheapest new I can find is £479, less suggested 30% puts it around £335.
I'm happy to go to £350 if that's not an OTT price.

Are they a popular ladies set, or are tehy a bit of an odd ball, obvioulsy if their popular then your going to pay a bit more, if their oddball you may have the upper hand.

There worth what your willing to pay for them. Personaly, I think 25% off an eight month old set of the latest top of the range clubs is a bargain.

Ping Faith Ladies clubs, good set, and hold value well.
I did try and 'cheekily' buy up a 2nd hand set ( for my Son-12yrs old ) but the Pro wouldnt budge on the Price, and sure enough 2 weeks later, they went...........
I would say £350 for such a newish set was defo Value.......

It would be embarrassing to offer 1/2 the Value, as would be the Price golfbidder would send you

I'd say 25% off new price would be a good deal. The Faith replaced the Rhapsody and the good thing about Ping Ladies clubs is they seem to be the current model a lot longer!

Check out Fleebay mate. My girlfriend is interested in giving golf a go O I just bought a single club to have a go with on the range. But I did see plenty of good quality ladies sets on htere for under £150 including a full set of ladies Ping that had a 6-Sw and then 3,4 and 5 hybrid. It reached about £250 but hat was a couple of months ago.
