hi all,
need a bit of advice on grips, i suffer from a skin condition on my hands which causes the skin on them to become very sore, cracked etc. was wondering what type of grip would be better for me so i can play golf easier and less pain free.
thanks

Guy at my club suffers also. Think he ended up buying leather grips then moved onto the Kangaroo one's that John Daly is using.

I find full cord grips give me sore hands so all my clubs have a grip type called Tour Velvet and they feel very nice to grip in the dry and wet conditions and I no longer have sore hands.

Hope this helps

ok thanks for the advice will look into the kangaroo one's and the tour velvet ones
if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know
thanks

Steer well clear of anything corded, they will shred your hands.

Winn used to do some very soft but tacky grips. Have a look on their web site, it may help. The down side is they will wear out quite quickly.

I think Iomic do something pretty soft too.

Just to be different, have you considered gloves?

Would be much simpler and cheaper than regrippign everything, especially with leather grips that don't last as long as rubber.

You could look at the tour wrap grips from Golf Pride they are tacky & soft.

In fact if you go on Golf Pride's website there is a grip selector which you can answer & it brings up suggestions of grips which suit you.
