Adidas golf shoes

I’ll only wear adidas, use the boost 360 tour spiked and as I alternate between white in the summer and black in the winter, I generally get 4 seasons out of each pair.

Not been a lover of spikeless other than for the range and as my FJ’s (range shoes) just split I purchased the SL2G… WOW… mega!!!!!

I’m a 10 standard in trainers or shoes, I either by a 10.5 standard or 10 wide and the fit is perfect.

I got 10.5 wide in my latest adidas golf shoes.

I used to wear 10s but decided last year to start buying 10.5s in golf shoes and trainers much more comfortable on my old bunion feet. 😄

I’ve had loads of pairs of adidas down the years. Several versions of the 360’s which are great. Boost sole is so comfy especially in spikeless version.

Adidas do two size fittings: narrow and wide.

Never ceases to amaze me the number of people who buy the narrow shoe and then complain it’s too narrow.

I had a pair of Adidas a few years back. Two big issues for me were:
1. They used the PINS system for the cleats. Utterly stupid design, spikes forever breaking and falling out. Do Adidas still use PINS?
2. For reasons unknown they became smelly, much worse than any other brand of golf shoes I've ever had.

I'm the same , been always a 10 in shoes and trainers. Bought the Adidas 360s in 10 wide at start of summer and they've been brilliant. Choice is a bit limited as they don't seem to make every model/colour in wide but I'll try stick with the adidas now that I've found a fit I like

Not had them for a while but I’ve always felt that the heels are too hard and I blister like hell in them. Wearing sketchers slip ins at the moment and I don’t see the changing for a long time. They’re awesome!

This is the thing with shoe recommendations, they’re so subjective to the person.

I tried sketchers, rave reviews for both golf shoes and normal trainers, tried 2 different designs, both of them ripped my feet to shreds. I’d never go near them again.

Adidas though, I know that 10.5 fit me fine straight out of the box, no issues at all, and always comfy.

I have a pair I wear during wetter weather, and a pair during the summer, alternating them seems to help them last longer, it’s been 2 full seasons now on these 2 pairs.

Completely agree as everyone’s feet are different. The only shoe that was bad on quality for me are FJs. Used to be my go to shoe but the last few years the soles kept peeling away.

This for me, white for late spring, summer and early autumn and a black pair for the wet muddier months.

The white ones get dubbed up during the winter to keep the leather soft and I do the same with the black ones after winter. A bit fussy but I’ll only use the FJ dubbing and it’s proven.

First time ever this year I’ve seen a few of the plastic cleats part break but I think this is due to a lot of our hilly paths being stoney in stead of the common rubber ones which are popping up everywhere.

@cliveb - did you ever find an alternative cleat to fit the 360 shoe?

My course has stones paths with the plastic gravel grids between a few holes due to the hills and I seem to be breaking cleats now on a weekly basis.

I know nothing about the 360. If, like the Adidas shoes I had, it uses PINS cleats, then I think you're hosed.

PINS is just a downright stupid cleat attachment system. It's almost as if the design was deliberately chosen to make cleats break and fall out in order to sell lots of replacements. Skechers uses PINS too so I'll never buy another pair of those.

It’s why I’ve refused to buy another pair of Adidas shoes, my old course you crossed a gravel lane between the front and back 9. Lost count how times I broke or lost PINS cleats, became a faff replacing them, annoying buying more so in the end I binned the shoes that uppers were in perfectly good order due to frustration. I’ll never buy them again no matter what the offer or shoe.

I've had Adidas shoes before and would have them again but would echo what others have said about their sizing. You'll need a bigger size than normal. I take 10.5 or 11 (UK sizes) but, when it's Adidas (and only Adidas), I need a 12.

I suffer with Plantar Fasciitis and my Podiatrist said Sketcher are one of the worst shoes out there .Recommended New Balance so I bought Ecco Biom 😂

I had PF for a couple of years and found that the adidas code chaos caused the least post-round pain.

Crocs have cured me (for now) thankfully, I used to get home and barely be able to walk!

Haha. I’m Nike size 9, Adidas 8.5 wide, Puma 8. Ecco 43 (about 8.5)

I’ve been suffering from PF for a few months and Sketchers Go Golf Prestige shoes with Archfit have been the only pair I can walk 18 holes and be without pain. Adidas trainers with Cloudfoam also help PF but I don’t think they have that type of insole in golf shoes

I've ripped out all of the standard insoles in all of my shoes and replaced them with ones that have stronger support for the arch. A little uncomfortable to start with but I've not had a problem with PF since. Well worth the money and initial discomfortment in my mind.
