Been tinkering for a while with 915 settings and shafts and setup and finally getting to a consistency I am happy with but just wondering what effect trying different weights in the back of the head? I have the standard 9g weight in it but with the new 917 out you can get weight kits relatively cheap.

Just wondering what these weights will do for ballflight: speed, spin and swing?

The port for fitting the weight is at the back of the driver head and the weights range from as low as 4g up to 19g

A heavier weight would in theory make it slightly more forgiving and slightly higher spinning, but not enough I'd have thought for you to notice.
It will obviously also make the driver feel heavier to swing which is what I presume the intention of them was, to fine tune swing weight.

a friend of mine added heavier weights to his Callaway Driver. He is a pretty good ball striker and hits the ball miles. But... i thought he lost distance the few times ive played with him lately.
