Just had a call from a mate and playing here tomorrow morning now, just done a search and mostly old threads.

Any members on here or anyone played it recently ?

Mate says it's supposed to be a great track so looking forward to it :D

Played it back in August. Very nice track but dont ask for bacon in the clubhouse as its a Jewish golf club. Very close to the M11 and M25 but you dont notice accept on one hole I think. Tees are very good and all boxed in and the greens ran fast and true but not as fast as the practice green though. I found the Par 5's all to be reachable in two but that was in the summer. Lots of trees about especially on the back 9 so try and keep it straight off the tee if you can. Water comes into play on the 2nd and 3rd but other than a few ditches I couldnt remember any other big water features. Watch out for the adders on the 7th/8th.

Stu thanks very much for that, really looking forward to it now.

As for the adders if I could post a picture up (no idea how) here from when I was a member at Westerham you would see I'm not to worried about them :D

I played Abridge last month. It was in great nick, especially the greens but you will need your putting boots on. I don't know how much they would register on a stimpmeter but they were very quick with some wicked reads. I couldn't get the hang of them myself & 3 putted 5 greeens & 4 putted 1 green. Definitely a great course to play though & will go back to play again soon.

I've got a mate who plays in the glancy - a jewish interclub comp. He says that Abridge is the best course he's played out of all the other Jewish ones (although he hasn't played Coombe hill) and I've never been disappointed in any of them.

I've played a few of them including Coombe hill which is great, so I would say it should be very good.

Gizza a report Gazza - is it any good?

I really enjoyed it despite having a mixed day play wise.

Thought the course was in excellent condition despite all the recent rain, not to wet underfoot.

Greens were not as quick as expected (prob due to the amount of recent rain) but were very true.

Only criticism would be why cant more people repair/replace divots ?!?!

We payed £90 for a 4 ball under their specials and for that money well well worth it and I would deffo go back
