FINALLY managed to get the Media Server function working on my PS3.

It's only been a year and a half! All I needed to do was adjust the Firewall settings on my Macbook. I appear to have failed at life!

You appear to have mis-read my post.

The problem wasn't with the Mac. That works perfectly, as advertised .

I was the problem. No shock really.
