Aberdovey

Has anyone played it?
I'm thinking of a couple of days away in March and this place looks stunning on the website, looks like a decent little town as well.
We usually go up to St Andrews for a few days around easter but thinking about a change this time round.

I play it from time to time. It's also in my AA book of the top 43 (odd number?) courses.
I really like it. Hard to choose between there and Royal St David's (Harlech).
If you are in the area, Borth is the other side of the estuary and worth a play too - it's not as classy but it's fun!!

We play it every year in the first week of March and it is fantastic and the greens are like putting on glass they are so fast even in March.

Last year it was really warm and we all started playing in jumpers and ended up in just polo's...hope its the same this year on either the 5th or 6th of March

Ive just had a look at borth,i'd never heard of it before but it looks impressive, couldn't believe routeplanner had it 50 mins away from aberdovey,

I think we'll be giving it a whirl in March

Played Aberdovey & Borth. Of the two, Aberdovey is far better. The 2 fore 1 vouchers are valid at Borth though so good value for money with the vouchers

Agreed. It's not exactly "next door" (Borth) with the estuary in the way!
