A very odd stupid mistake

Offered him the NR as he clearly made a monumental mistake and as it was a medal it was going to turn a decent score into a cricket score (That's because I have known him for 10 years and I know what a funny bugger he can be), After speaking with several people I realised I couldn't do this so that was withdrawn, Also for this one the DQ was never an option as he signed for a higher score than he actually had, Someone else in the thread suggested that.
Did he get a handicap cut, after reducing his 45 to a net double bogey ?

He made buffer zone as it turned out. He will get some grief next Sunday off everyone. Told him he has the new record for the highest score ever recorded in a medal. Put my 11 to shame the other week.

My mate was telling me at his club the other day, some woman wrote a 4 down on her card for a hole where she had a 3. The scores were correctly done counting it as a 4 and she went ballistic claiming it was an honest mistake and that the score should be changed. Apparently she followed it up with "we've always changed them in the past" .....

The mind boggles.

I suspect it happens more than we like to think.

It gets better - apparently she's a former President of the club! Need to find out more about this story. It sounds an absolute cracker!
