A step back in time anyone?

That's a doozy, right enough. D'you think he's just taken a run up at it, Alan? I can just imagine the follow through. Pretty sure it'll involve him lying on his back with both feet in the air.

Defo up for a game there. It can't make my game any worse. :D :D

The John Daly of the day I'd say.

We'll get something sorted sometime after Castle Stuart John.
See if we can gather a motley crew to go and get it in the mag.

Is he a leftie that's just made a complete airshot?
Surely they got the negative the wrong way round?

Is that Shakin Stevens playing there trying to hit it thru the green door. :D

That looks the business ,i'd be up for that ,wonder if Lindeberg make plus fours.

"There is an additional package priced at £40 that includes all of the above plus:

1. The guarantee of an hour gap on the 1st tee between parties to enable all players to experience the feeling of personal privacy, just as it was when the Sharp family entertained their friends all those years ago".

That still wouldn't be long enough for James to decide which club he should take out of his bag....

I would be up for this, could be a right laugh.

On the plus side Andy's loud jerseys won't look out of place here :D :p

Looks a laugh (and I’ll try not to go on a rant here) but..

This has been set on land owned by the National Trust who since taking over the Hill of Tarvit estate have got into financial difficulty. My old club nearby, Cupar, also sits on this estate. The 154-year-old club has been renting the land for over 100 years, originally from the Hill of Tarvit Estate. It usually secures a 25-year lease but the trust has only offered a five-year lease and Cupar Golf Club has been asked to cough up three times as much for it. As a result Cupar Golf Club’s (believed to be the oldest existing 9 hole club in the world) existence is now under threat. The land that Cupar Golf Club sits on is prime housing development land as services for another nearby housing development were routed through the course.

If any of the green fees generated by this interesting adventure fall into the hands of the National Trust then I am out. I will give my money to Cupar golf club and play there and be more than happy to meet up afterwards

Rant over!!!! :D :D

I'd be up for a game there. It would certainly be an entertaining round. Would we have to take any pictures on an old Brownie with proper B&W film though ?

Interesting to hear what StuartD has said, not the first time that has happened I'm afraid.
