A slow start

Had my first round for three years yesterday and i'd love to say that it was like i never left, but unfortunatley it didnt work that way. Having played off nine when i was 18 i put alot of pressure on myself to shoot in the seventy's (was never going to happen). It was like i had just started playing for the first time, i was bloody embarrassed, the only good point of the round was the 10 footer i sank for par (and the fact i only lost one ball).Still i enjoyed it and im playing tommoro aswell. I've taking practice swings at work to try and work out were i went wrong, its like i was never away

Blimey, playing of 9 after 3 weeks away is hard enough, after 3 years it's impossible!

The practice swings in the work toilet mirror will have you sorted soon enough though

Too much pressure on yourself there fella. Ease yourself back in gently with no aspirations and maybe a quick refresher lesson and then go for it. Rome wasn't built in a day.
