A ray of sunshine?

I'm finding it a bit frustrating. Happy for all you lot that will be able to get out but it's going to get tougher reading about your golf exploits.

Same feeling or me.
Physical and mental fitness has played no part in the Gov lockdown here, its all been about stopping the virus. So despite a partial return to work later this week I've no idea yet when they might let us out to do any kind of outdoor exercise never mind allowing courses to open

Enjoy it guys, very jealous. Just take extra balls and play every shot with the same freedom you'd hit on the range

I am looking forward to playing again but having hit some balls into a net today that excitement at the opportunity as been severely tempered. I think I am going to need some serious time on the practice ground as I seem to have forgotten everything about swinging the club resembling something approaching functionally. As we are booking two days in advance I have time before Thursday and the decision to play or not on Saturday

Blimey Homer, nothing like getting yourself down before the round. If you've got a net in the garden, you can have a few swings before you go, but just look as getting out on the course as a "ray of sunshine", go and enjoy regardless of the score. If you're gonna beat yourself up over it before you go, best give it a miss and wait for a bit longer.

You must have almost zero muscle memory. I am by no means a great golfer but I can pick up my clubs after breaks of about a year and still look like I know what I’m doing!
